I recently moved to York and finding a Loctician was difficult until I came upon this hidden gem. It's a one stop shop for all your hair needs .Prior to stumbling upon this establishment my locs hadn't been done in 3 months. Jodie, Loctician, is a miracle worker. She is extremely talented and knowledgeable. She hooked a sista up. I'll definitely be back.
I went to Friends Salon for microblading and brow shading. This is a beautiful Black-owned business with friendly staff and management. My brow tech was Sophia. It was immediately clear that she is passionate about her job and takes pride in making clients look and feel beautiful. She was very thorough and explained every step along the way. She is also an incredible and dynamic person inside and out. I feel blessed to have met her and I'm excited to return to Friends Salon in the future. Also by the way, my brows look amazing and natural. I don't have to draw them on anymore and they're healing well. My teenage daughter says "my makeup looks pretty" so that's how I know they must be good!
I made a appointment to have cornrows braids done. Jodi my hair stylish mastered the cornrows style i requested. Its has only been one day and i have been getting complements from several people. Thank you Jodi for yor hard work. 10s across the boards . I will return .
I’ve come to this salon as a alternative because I had bad experiences at another salon. And as it turned out, this salon was the best move that I could have made for my hair. Thanks Rhon, for the great services that you and the rest of the group provide.
I came in today to start my loc journey and Rhon was super kind and accommodating. My hair is very soft and curly and Rhon took the time to educate me on what's best during my loc joruney and gave great advice. Overall, the salon is very nice and homey, and the team here is amazing. I highly recommend this salon for anyone with locs!
